So! You Didn’t Do It! began with a familiar feeling: another day had passed without creating anything that was planned to create. That disappointment became a thought, the thought became a conversation with ChatGPT, and the conversation became this short book.

This is not a productivity guide or a promise that every distraction leads somewhere meaningful. It is one creator’s reflection on unfinished plans, lost days, unexpected side paths, and the lifelong need to keep creating. Sometimes the way back is not to force yourself toward the project you intended to finish. Sometimes it is simply to stop long enough to create something, then follow where it leads.
